Deeperguard Encrypted notes

Zero-knowledge No app install Beta

Your notes, encrypted before they leave your device

Deeperguard is a private notes app that runs in your browser — phone, tablet, or desktop. We only store scrambled ciphertext. We cannot read your titles, tags, or attachments.

Built for privacy, not surveillance

Most note apps can read your data on the server. Deeperguard is designed so they cannot — even if compelled or breached.

True zero-knowledge

Your vault password never leaves your device. Note bodies, attachments, and scans are encrypted client-side before upload.

No install required

Open the app in Chrome, Safari, or Firefox. Optional home-screen icon on iPhone — no App Store download.

Sync everywhere

Write on your phone, continue on your laptop. End-to-end encrypted sync keeps notes consistent across devices.

Scans & PDFs

Photograph receipts and documents. Search inside scanned text with on-device OCR — we never store readable content.

Passkeys & 2FA

Pro includes passkey sign-in and TOTP on your account. Lock individual notes from editing when sharing a screen.

Encrypted backups

Pro can email a daily encrypted archive or sync backups to your pCloud folder — still ciphertext only.

How Deeperguard compares

Side-by-side with Standard Notes (encrypted-notes specialist) and Evernote (mainstream note app). Indicative overview for personal note-taking — features and pricing change; check each vendor for current details.

Standard Notes

Strong encrypted-notes choice with mature apps and extensions. A good fit if you already live in their ecosystem — Deeperguard can import your vault export.

Evernote

Feature-rich and widely used, with powerful clipping and search. Notes are not zero-knowledge; the service can process content for search and AI features.

How it works

Three steps from signup to encrypted notes — no technical setup.

Create your account

Sign up with email and a strong password. New accounts start on Pro during the public beta.

Unlock your vault

Your password derives encryption keys locally. The server stores only ciphertext and an SRP verifier — never your secrets.

Write, scan, sync

Take notes, attach files, scan documents, and search — everything encrypted before it leaves your browser.

Simple pricing

Both plans are free during public beta. Suggested prices below apply when billing launches — you will not be charged during beta.

Questions

Can Deeperguard read my notes?

No. Notes and attachments are encrypted in your browser before sync. We store ciphertext only. Your vault password is used locally and is not sent to our servers in readable form.

Do I need to install an app?

No. Open the web app in any modern browser. On iPhone you can add it to your home screen for an app-like experience — still the same zero-knowledge web app, not a separate native client.

What happens if I forget my password?

We cannot recover your vault. That is the trade-off of zero-knowledge encryption. Pro users can set up encrypted email or pCloud backups to protect against device loss.

When will billing start?

Not during the public beta. Both Basic and Pro are free right now. We will announce pricing before charging anyone.

Where do I open my notes?

Go to https://www.deeperguard.com/app to unlock your vault and write. This homepage is the overview; your encrypted notes always open in the app.
